I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but I feel wanted.
If people had my picture, it would be pasted everywhere with a bounty on my head by now ? Every time I log in to Twitter, I see everyone trying to find out who I am, and saying things like “If I catch you for street”
Me???? Street???? I feel wanted. Send help ?
All I do is help people make better financial decisions. Now I’m on the run.

I’ve decided to give everyone a peek into what it’s like being me – the most wanted person in the Nigerian FinTech space.
Starting today, I’d be keeping a journal here for the next 30 days – snitching on some of my team members ?, telling some embarrassing stories that I can’t tell everyone because of my street cred ?
Truth is, I may be a money guru now, but I’ve made some mistakes. Some of them were expensive. Even more, are embarrassing. But isn’t that what makes us human?
That’s why I’ve made it my life’s mission to ensure people don’t make the same.
Now I’m wanted.
Maybe it’s a good thing. Maybe it’s not.

Okay, so you finally find a way to get my attention.

I mistakenly locked up huge sum of money on cowrywise since 2019 with a 5years maturity period. This means the maturity date is 2024. My eyes was clear on what I did when I was looking for withdraw button and couldn’t find it. The lady I chatted with later explained to me I can’t withdraw until maturity. And this Ope will not stop checking on me, through the phone app, to come and save more.
Last Friday you were still asking me what I was doing?
The other day I needed money so badly, I opened cowrywise and I was staring at my money. What’s the use anyway I can’t spend it now.
But Cowrywise has helped me a lot though, may be in 2024 when I collect my money I will tell story about ’discipline’ which I was forced to choose by cowrywise. And how I av used cowrywise to plan my job exit. It is the most amazing thing I ever used cowrywise for. It’s a strategy that helped me survive each month without the feeling that I Dont have job.

Same here, 2019-2024, I locked the plan with hope to use the money to further my education or start a business. Whichever comes first. During the pandemic I tried to access it but I was told I couldn’t. I had no money on me so I was angry and asked what if I want to delete my account before the due date. I was told the money will be lost, the lockdown is over I’m back to my senses and I happy I didn’t touch the plan, I can’t believe I lived through the pandemic with little cash. This has strengthened my resolve to save more, I keep praying that cowrywise will last for a very long time! Ope is the best though ?
