It\u2019s Friday once again (the actual Friday lol), the end of another week. TGIF!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time is quickly passing by, or maybe it’s just me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wait. It’s Fridayyyyyyy??????? ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did I meet all my deadlines for the week? Ah! Am I even sending out a notification today? Let me quickly check with the guys\u2026 *sends a message on slack*<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So where was I? It\u2019s been an exciting week, really. I started this series<\/a> so I could share what goes on every day in my life. Not every time \u201csave that 10k you\u2019re about to blow ?\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you follow us on social media<\/a>, you\u2019d know that we\u2019re recruiting new team members<\/a>. Believe me, the outcome has caused a mix of feelings. Overwhelming, yet heartwarming; we got over 4,000 applications. Do you know what that means? 4k+ people out here want to work at Cowrywise ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My guys have been stuck up on how to gracefully \u2018dish out Ls\u2019 because we cannot afford to accept all 4k people even if we wanted to. God knows I\u2019m grateful that I\u2019m not on the recruiting team. Faith and the gang are on their own for this one. So pleeeeaaassse, don\u2019t come for me ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today is my colleague\u2019s birthday, Festus<\/a>. I didn\u2019t plan on missing the cake and fun so guess who\u2019s at the office right now? ? Anyway, Festus is one fine Delta boy like that. He writes code for a living while jamming to good music. Some of you would call him a tech bro ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
