In Nigeria, the withholding tax is one of the most important taxes businesses and individuals have to deal with.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Types of Withholding Tax in Nigeria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Withholding tax on rent:<\/strong> This tax is deducted from the rent paid by tenants to landlords.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Withholding tax on dividends:<\/strong> This tax is deducted from dividends paid to shareholders.
